Equipped with a Masters of Research in analytical chemistry,
I got the opportunity to work for SGS, the world's leading testing,
inspection & certification company, as an industrial problem-solver.
This experience was the perfect stepping stone for me to engage with
multiple industries all over Australia & New Zealand. When I realised
my passion for solving industry problems, I decided to focus on a
cause that moved me and to start my own sustainability consulting
company for hospitality,
Earth Cycle Solutions!
Whilst working with restaurant owners
to implement sustainable strategies for their
team, it became clear that, if we wanted them
to change their work habits, we would have
to make it appealing to them.
And if we wanted those changes to last, we’d
have to provide them with tools that were easy
to use, accessible, and that allowed the
managers to monitor their success.
This is when I realised how fundamental technology
was going to be for this project and decided to learn
software development, in order to create an app for
all the needs of Earth Cycle Solution’s customers.
What started of as a necessary set of skills for my own company, quickly turned into a passion, as coding unlocked my creativity and my love for complexity. Very soon, a whole world of possibilities opened up and my desire to help others turn their visions into a reality led me to offer my web-development services, and VOILA!
